This program will introduce educators to RoboBlockly and its applications in the classroom. RoboBlockly (roboblockly.ucdavis.edu) is a Blockly based environment for learning coding and math with robotics.  All math activities in RoboBlockly are aligned with CCSS for Mathematics. RoboBlockly prepares students to program in Ch/C/C++. Activities on RoboBlockly are accessible to students from grades 1 to 12 and are categorized by subject and appropriate grade levels. This session also will go over how to interact with Linkbots and Mindstorms NXT/EV3 using code generated on RoboBlockly, along with some fun activities that teach programming concepts.
***Attendees need to download the C-STEM Software from http://c-stem.ucdavis.edu/downloads/ In addition internet access to http://roboblockly.ucdavis.edu is needed.  You must have administrative privileges on the laptop to install software.***
